Gavin has also proved committed to the clubs development as his sponsorship through his company G.H.Windows and Doors saw the side kitted out last term.

Many people know that Ant can do the talking with his fists with a well publicised boxing career, but not so many know he's pretty nifty with his feet.

Boundless energy and explosive pace had a devastating effect on three opponents last term with B.B.S notching two breath taking goals to boot.

Sadly for L'Orange, Anthony puts his Boxing first and will only be acting as cover, but there is a positive, should he go back in the 'Big Brother' house we own his marketing rights! Ca-Ching!

P.T proved to be a knight in shinning armor for Pot Black last year after he signed when 3 midfield regulars became unavailable within a few weeks and produced quality performance after quality performance.

Paul is another player with Kirkley and Ashlea connections explaining the level of ability he possesses.

Richi is a very big personality and someone that was quickly taken into the hearts of his team mates.

Reeder's first appearance came two seasons ago with a one off match that saw him forced from striker to keeper after P.B legend Graham Mansbridge was carried off injured after conceding a penalty which Richi promptly saved to rescue a point.

After concerns to what his plans were for the season, Richi delighted his club by committing to P.B once again.

Gary Boyd

Gary made a massive impact when he arrived at P.B with younger brother Darren, with a blood and thunder performance against Hearts of Oak in his first match, which won him a fan club amongst his new team mates.

Gary's calm and balance attitude, strong professionalism and desire to win has been an influence on the change in the clubs fortune as the young players look for a role model.

In only his first season Gaz jointly received the 'Club man of the year' award with fellow defender Danny Rose, for his unselfish nature and putting the good of the team first.

Simon Durrant

Two seasons ago Targer made one solitary appearance for P.B at the end of the season to help us out when we were short, only to come away keen to commit full time after enjoying every second of it.

Last term what started as a dream for Pot Black turned into a nightmare when one of their prize signings fractured his leg in his first match.

Simon some how recovered just long enough to squeezing in two more matches and two class goals before suffering the same injury in L'Oranges 1-0 victory over Kirkley.

Following physio and specialist treatment Simon is eager to show his side what he's capable of and deliver the performances that has seen him star for some of the top clubs in town.

Tom Miles

Tom Miles is another player to come out of the Pot Black production line. Having mainly played regular football for the P.B Sunday side, he has also helped out here and there for the Saturday side.

As Tom is still studying at University, once again his appearances will be at a minimum, but one thing is for sure that if he does pull on the Orange shirt this term, he'll be a nightmare for any opponent.

Young Will was some what of a surprise catch this season after he turned out for the Sunday side in a pre-season fixture.

Will was the star of the show on the day, scoring one and setting up a stunning 5. Saturday manager Danny McKinley was quick to act in the half time interval as he talked him into signing for L'Orange on Saturdays mainly on a cover basis, but what cover!

Darren Boyd

Pot Black Captain Boydie was the Leagues shock summer signing of 2008/09 when he left League and Cup winners Hearts of Oak to sign for mid table strugglers L'Orange.

Darren's arrival with brother Gary Boyd was the catalyst which saw Pot Black evolve into a force that saw them clinch the league runners-up spot above some of the league big boys.

Darren's incredible desire to win all the time has sometimes seen his have crossed words with his team mates on the pitch, but his commitment and love for the club in such a short period of time has seen him become a player that others look up to, despite his abysmal time keeping which he consistently blames on his brother.

Jordan Wardrope

Jordi is yet another young player from David Edmunds Pot Black Sunday's production line, who has then committed to the Saturday side due to the fantastic team spirit.

Jordan had an up and down 1st season in Orange with a mix of holidays, injuries and work commitments restricting his appearances.

Although when Jordan did get his chances he always impressed with his comfort on the ball and positive movement, culminating in a fantastic performance against Kirkley 'A' under floodlights.

It is a great shame that Lansey has played so few games since first pulling on the Orange shirt, as on the handful of occasion he has played he has always performed at a high standard dominating with his colossal power.

Due to Mark's work which See's him working off-shore '2 and 2' it has been difficult to gain match fitness but his commitment to Pot Black Saturdays and Sundays is second to non and is once again more than happy to sign as defensive cover.

Now looking fit and strong Berger is looking set to continue for sometime in the colours of Pot Black.

Steve's box to box displays have always made him a favourite of anyone playing along side him as his fantastic engine appears to have no boundary's.

Unfortunately 'The Crab' made only a handful of appearances last term as he focused his time on running the London marathon, but at the same time showed great commitment to P.B by becoming club secretary in 2008.

Although he has already shown his determined nature, when asked to play out of position in a friendly "I'll play there but only to win my position back!"

Keith has made some what of a surprise return to L'Orange this summer after finishing Saturday football after the clubs first season in division 1.

Filthy's addition this summer, means that the squad now has 3 original Pot Black 99/00 members (Ross Jones & Danny McKinley the others) still plying their trade for the club.

Keith now in his third stretch with P.B after a brief flirtation with Oxford Arms (who at that time were a division higher than ourselves) has always been a tireless grafter and his record in front of goal is very pleasing considering he was normally deployed as a winger.

Danny was an acquisition for the club from the 'Neil Banks Scouting System' and proved a fantastic signing, as he was voted Players player by his peers in his first season.

Rosey's combative style and powerful tackles in L'Oranges back line has seen him become a favourite amongst his team mates and a player that sends a shiver down the spin of many a young striker facing him.

Danny's outstanding commitment to Pot Black since signing for the club was rightly reward, as he was named 'Pot Black F.C Club man of the year' for 2008/09 (jointly with Gary Boyd) for the tremendous example of loyalty and dedication he sets to other players.

Rob Cooper

No player other than Kurt Mansbridge has had more moans and whinges at his manager than Coops since signing for Pot Black, (ironically they moaned at each other more than anyone else!).
But when Cooper lets the ball do the talking for him, he is quite simply a match winner!

Majestic winger Rob has the ability to slice through teams effortlessly when he is focused on the task. One of Coopers high points in the Orange of P.B was in the title decider against F.C Hearts (then Hearts of Oak 'Reserves') when his 30 yard effort flew into then net sealing the division 2 title for his side.

Vinny came out of his self imposed early retirement after admitting he had previously lost interest in his football, joining Pot Black F.C in January 2009.

Big Guns made an instant impact on his debut when he came off the bench in desperate conditions with his side down to 10 men against their bitter rivals Kirkley 'A' , only to hit an injury time winner which sparked joyous celebrations amongst his new team mates.

Since that goal Vinny has impressed week in and week out with his outstanding work rate and never say die winning mentality as he helped the club to its highest ever league position.

Kev Sherwood

Assistant manager and club stalwart Kev Sherwood is considered his managers greatest acquisition after signing from a Division 2 rival side.

Hollywood's lead by example style and captain marvel displays have inspired young and old team mates alike, a fact proven by the fact he has won more club trophies than any other player.

Following Kev's decision last year to continue in goal, after a great run last season Kev has passed on the Captains armband to Darren Boyd, although the real winners are the team, who now have two captains on the pitch.

Birdy has been a very important player since bursting into the side in the 05/06 season at 16, with his pace and strength helping the side to lift the Division 2 title.

His top corner goal in Dec'07 vs Spexhall won a website poll for goal of the season, although general opinion is, it may have been the greatest Pot Black goal ever scored.

Adam's challenge this season is to put his talents to use, by avoiding wasting energy chasing dead balls, and focus on punishing teams with his pace and power.

With the clubs new vice-captain's comfort and calmness on the ball, added to his incredible new fitness level, and goals off the highest standard, a lot is expected of Max this term as the club managed to fend off interest from local senior clubs.

Due to his plans of going through with a Sex change in Australia this Autumn he is unavailable for selection and has passed the reigns of his 'Pot Black party liaison' position over to Max Wall who will fill the post until he returns from Oz in January under the name of Tina!
